Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has time and again proved his
acting ability. Along with giving us some wonderful movies and acts for so many
years, the megastar is also involved in humanitarian work.
The actor never talks about all the human welfare work he
does, but that doesn't mean his good work goes unobserved. For all his good
humanitarian work, the actor is being honoured with the Crystal Award. At the
World Economic Forum’s 48th Annual Meeting in Davos, the 24th Annual Crystal
Awards will be held that will honour SRK and many others who worked for the
benefits and well-being of others.
As per news, Shah Rukh is the founder of the non‐profit
Meer Foundation. His foundation provides support to acid attack female
survivors and provides medical treatment, legal aid, vocational training,
rehabilitation and livelihood support. The superstar is also being honoured for
the number of hospital wards he'd built for specialized children. He even works
for the treatment of children suffering from cancer.
Shah Rukh Khan told, "With victims of acid attacks I
have had the privilege to witness the unparalleled courage and compassion that
women are capable of. I have seen the transformative strength of goodness and
the healing power of gentleness."
He even tweeted recently, "Thank u for this honour. I
consider my work with these heroic & beautiful women a great privilege as
it imparts dignity & purpose to my life. I hope to spread awareness of the
unparalleled heroism of these ladies & reach out to others in order to
carry this work to its conclusion."
