Superstar Salman Khan and
Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set to release
in China, director Kabir Khan pronounced through a social media post.
The film minted over INR 300 crores in the domestic market
and will now release in over 8000 screens next month.
It will be exciting to see if Salman would be able to repeat
the same feat in China as Aamir Khan did. It can be
recalled that Dangal had a phenomenal success in China becoming the highest
grosser Indian film in the country.
Film Bajrangi Bhaijaan was helmed by Kabir Khan and also
starred child artiste Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. In the movie,
Salman essayed the role of Pawan aka Bhajrangi who goes to lengths to reunite
an estranged Munni (Harshaali) with her family in Pakistan.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan's lifetime collection was Rs. 320.34.
Talking of Salman, as per the makers, Tiger Zinda Hai
is his Salman's biggest hit so far.
Salman told in a statement: "I hope the industry has
many bigger successes this year. It is important that we see more hits,
more blockbusters. It will expand our industry, provide more jobs for people
and entertain audiences much more. I'm happy with the business that Tiger Zinda
Hai has been doing at the box office."
"Records are never ever-lasting. Records are meant to
be broken and it's good for new records to happen more frequently. It is
healthy and extremely important," he further added.
