Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will be seen uniting for
the first time in a horror film titled Stree which is being helmed by Amar
Kaushik.
Stree will be produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and
Krishna DK.
A source revealed a tabloid, “Stree is based on a
ridiculously true phenomenon and will see Shraddha and Raj playing characters,
unlike the ones they have done before. The makers wanted to keep the surprise
element intact.”
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha will be flying to Madhya Pradesh
to begin shooting for the film. "The team is off to Chanderi in Madhya
Pradesh, where they will shoot the whole film. This is also the first time a
Bollywood film is being shot in the fort town,” the source added.
The source further reveals that the team will be in Madhya
Pradesh for around 14-15 days to complete the schedule of the film.
In the meantime, when Rajkummar was questioned about
starring in the movie, the actor replied, "I have done a horror film
earlier, but it is the first time I am doing a horror comedy."
He added, "I am not supposed to talk about it much but
it is a horror comedy. It is one-of-its-kind. I really liked the script and
that's the reason Shraddha and I said yes to it."
