Bollywood’s hot Jodi Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have
been dating for over four years. They have been seen at public events indulging
in PDA but have never admitted being in a relationship. Hearsays about the two
tying the knot this year have gained momentum.
Ranveer and Deepika brought in the New Year at a resort in
Maldives. They were accompanied by their families. It is assumed that Ranveer
Singh popped the question to Deepika and the two are ceremoniously engaged.
Deepika Padukone and sister Anisha lately appeared on Neha Dhupia’s chat-show,
BFFs with Vogue.
Neha questioned Deepika about the gossips of her getting
engaged on the Maldives holiday, to which Deepika responded, “I was not
engaged.” Neha prodded her further and asked to see her ring finger. She
checked for a tan and exclaimed that the tan was indeed evident. Hence,
implying that Deepika was sporting a ring on her vacation.
On this, Deepika’s sister Anisha commented, “She has been
engaged successively for the last four years.” Last year too there were reports
that Ranveer and Deepika had gotten engaged. Deepika had then said, “There's no
such plan ANYTIME soon. I'm not pregnant, I'm not having a baby, I'm not
engaged and I'm not married. And I'm not even planning to get married anytime
soon.”
