Actor Aamir Khan is coming up with his forthcoming movie
Secret Superstar which portrays the life of a teenage girl and her struggles
while she fulfills her dreams.
The movie produced by Aamir Khan Productions' is scheduled
to release this Diwali.
Speaking about the movie, Aamir Khan told, "I think as
creative people we can make more films for children. We make very less films
for the kids, also for the teenagers and we should make more films for this age
group. And this is one film that is for youngsters, age group between 12 and
18. But it isn't restricted to that particular age group. This is a family
film, even small kids will like it and even older people will enjoy it. I think
it's a family film and has a much wider scope."
Zaira essays Insia, an aspiring singer, and a teenager who
wants to showcase her talent of singing to the world but is restrained by her
father while her mother supports her fully. Later, in order to make a mark,
Insia dons a burkha and starts a YouTube channel where she shares her singing
videos. She quickly becomes a viral star.
The actor essays a creepy swagtatstic music composer who
scouts Insia's talent while being entertainingly funny with his antics and
dressing sense.
