Actor Sanjay Dutt's life has been a scandalous one from the
get go but it was his jail terms that truly transformed the actor.
While in jail, Sanjay disclosed to a famous tabloid that if
he found out that one of his inmates was a rapist, he would refrain from speaking
to that particular person.
Probing into the topic further, Sanjay specified to the tabloid,
"Women are symbols of Goddess Durga and Laxmi. When we pray to them, how
on earth can anyone behave in such a manner with them? So when I got a chance
to work in Bhoomi, I was more than happy to be a part of the film."
Sanjay also got frank about his struggle with smoking and remembered
the time his father and veteran actor Sunil Dutt caught his son smoking. The
actor told, "My father had caught me smoking in the bathroom. He took me
inside the room and thrashed me. I know I need to stop smoking. I will attempt
it once again, soon."
On the film front, Sanjay will next be seen in Bhoomi which
is directed by Omung Kumar and also stars Aditi Rao Hydari. Bhoomi is slated to
release on September 22, 2017.
