Katrina Kaif has turned 34 recently on July 16, 2017. The
actor is presently busy dazzling at the IIFA 2017 Green Carpet along with
former beau Salman Khan.
The actor was seen donning an Abu Jani sari for the event.
Others who were seen making a splash at the event were Shahid Kapoor, Karan
Johar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon among others.
But, it is Salman and Katrina's friendship which has been
one of the major highlights of the event.
While addressing the press conference of the IIFA Weekend
and Awards, Salman disclosed that he is bad with dates, however, only remembers
Kat's birthday.
“I am not good with dates, not good with dates at all.
Seriously. The only one date I remember right now is Katrina’s birthday.
Katrina’s birthday is on July 16, so let’s sing for her right now,” Salman told.
This is when he broke into an unplanned “Happy Birthday to
you... Happy Birthday dear Katrina” song, and later on gave a small peck on her
cheeks.
Salman also spoke about how he is not the best dancer and
yet is asked to perform at award functions every year. He told, "Even
after such bad performances, they (organisers) are paying me for it. I am more
than happy doing it. It’s like I am getting money for standing there." He
further spoke about how he does not like to receive awards. Salman said,
"I have never won an award. I have got some supporting actors award. I
like rewards more than awards."
