Thugs of Hindostan is unquestionably one of the most
promising films of 2018 with a star-studded cast which includes Amitabh
Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
Talking of Katrina, the actress lately flew down to Malta
and joined the cast and crew to shoot for her scenes.
Firstly, there were reports going widespread that Katrina
will be essaying a British character in the movie. But, a source repudiated the
news and informed us, "There are rumours doing the rounds of Katrina Kaif
playing a British character in Thugs of Hindostan. However, the reports are completely
baseless. Katrina is playing an out and out Indian role and is an integral part
of the film. Since this is a period film, it will be her first Indian classical
role."
Talking about Katrina's character, a source associated with
the production work of Thugs of Hindostan disclosed some intricate details to a
famous tabloid.
The source specified, "Katrina plays this very
interesting Indian princess character. The entire look has a warrior princess
feel to it, with a sexy nose ring in the middle of the nose partition. Wild
loose waves, smokey eyes and indo-western outfits in earthy colour tones
(mostly greyish and brown) was inspired from ‘ghagra – choli’ but only in a
quirkier way! She is seen flashing her dashboard abs too."
In the meantime, there were also reports going around that
Katrina has a 10-20 minute role in TOH. But, the spokesperson of YRF squashed
the rumours and told to us, "There is no truth to this whatsoever."
