After failing to find any bidders at numerous auctions,
Vijay Mallaya’s famous Kingfisher Villa, in Goa has finally been sold. The
sea-facing villa in Candolim has been purchased by actor-filmmaker Sachiin
Joshi.
Joshi, who was last seen essaying a cop in Ram Gopal Varma‘s
Veerappan, bought the villa for a whopping sum of Rs. 73 crore. The villa was
put on sale for Rs. 85 crore initially but when the lenders found no buyers for
it, they brought it down to Rs. 81 crore, again without success. They auctioned
it again for Rs. 73 crore and that’s when Sachiin bought it.
