Priyanka Chopra to start shooting for Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink!

International diva Priyanka Chopra returned to India recently. The actor was in Delhi to attend an event and soon flew to Mumbai. As per start, the actor will begin shooting for Shonali Bose's The Sky is Pink. For the movie, Priyanka will be seen reuniting with Farhan Akhtar. The Sky is Pink will mark Priyanka's return to the Hindi flicks after 2016 (Jai Gangaajal).

The Sky Is Pink also stars Zaira Wasim in the lead role. The film is being co-produced by Priyanka, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The makers shared the picture of the team from the sets wherein they are posing for a quick selfie.

The film, based on the true story of Aisha Chaudhary and her family, will be shot across Mumbai, Delhi, London and the Andamans, with dialogues by Juhi Chaturvedi and music by Pritam.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is happily married to producer Siddharth Roy Kapur for five years and counting.

When a daily questioned the actress if she was closer to her husband given the fact that they work in the same field, Vidya replied, "Yeah, I’m passionate about acting while Siddharth is passionate about movies. You could wake him up at 5 am and ask him to watch a brilliant film and he’ll happily compromise on his sleep. I won’t. He is also a non-judgemental audience."

Quiz her on if she would like to collaborate with him in a film and the actress disclosed, "Unless it’s an unavoidable situation, we’d rather not work together."

On whether the opposites attract theory works on them and Vidya joked, "(Laughs) If you said this to Siddharth he’d blush. He’s an intensely private person. I’m the badmash, but I respect that he guards his privacy zealously. Yes, it’s been good for us so far. Touchwood."

Vidya Balan feels blessed to get life partner like Siddharth Roy Kapur!

Bollywood actrees Vidya Balan is presently promoting her forthcoming movie, Suresh Triveni’s Tumhari Sulu. The actress spoke to a famous tabloid about the movie and relationships.

When questioned about how she keeps the romance with husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur alive, she revealed, “Because we have a hectic schedule and spend less time together our romance is going strong [laughs]. Every relationship requires work to keep the spark alive. In a normal scenario, a couple dates for a few years and then gets married - that is when they start taking each other for granted. When you are occupied with work, it teaches you not to take your partner for granted. It may seem complex, but it is easy to be a happy couple and stay like that despite the ups and downs in life. There are times when we are listening to a song and we both start singing it or just remember the lyrics. It is fun. We have always been taught to lead a normal life; I am blessed to have a partner like him.”

Vidya also revealed about having a string of flops and told, “My commitment and passion towards my work remains the same. I don't have any pressure because my previous films haven't done well. In fact, I feel success brings in some amount of pressure. Every actor goes through successes and failures. Every film will not do the same kind of business, so I don't think it affects the credibility of an actor. I am 38 and married, but I don't see that as a limitation. These things could have been impediments earlier, but today I am fearless as I know there are only certain things in my control.”

Vidya Balan has a unique violent streak as per her hubby!

Actress Vidya Balan tells her hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur believes she has a violent streak.

The actress also told that she did the upcoming period drama "Begum Jaan" as she wanted to find a way to vent her anger.

She spoke about the movie and her relationship with Siddharth during a chat show "Yaar Mera Superstar Season 2" along with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. The episode will go on air on Zoom on Saturday, read a statement from the channel.

When the show's host questioned Vidya about the kind of anger she shows in the movie, Vidya told, "I wanted to unleash that part of me and all it took was a conversation with Bhatt saab on a flight. We were promoting ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani' so, I told him that I wanted to give an expression to my anger, I have a lot of anger."

The actress further added, "The long and short of it is that he came to me with ‘Begum Jaan'...But to actually give vent to that kind of anger, aggression, wasn't easy. But it was fun, once you break the limits, it was a lot of fun. It's so freeing. Siddharth believes that I do have a violent streak."

"Begum Jaan" is a Hindi adaptation of National Award-winner Srijit Mukherji's critically acclaimed Bengali outing "Rajkahini". The movie sees Vidya play a brothel owner in a story of survival set against the backdrop of the country's partition in 1947.

The movie, produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films, is set to release on April 14.

I never dreamt of getting married but After I met Siddharth, it’s a natural progression, says Vidya Balan!

Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan, who is in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani 2 which released on Friday, will be rejoicing her fourth wedding anniversary with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur on December 14.

In an interview with a famous tabloid, Vidya told, “He’s non-reactive compared to me. I don’t think I can ever reach his level of being non-reactive. I sure do marvel at that quality in him. It is amazing to be in that space, as he meets so many people all the time."

Admiring Siddharth, Vidya added, "But he handles people beautifully. I love being around people and get along with them as well. I am a reactive person, which could be because I am a very sensitive (person). I haven’t been able to change that about myself.”

Going by Vidya's words, wedding was never a plan for her. She told the tabloid, “I never dreamt of getting married. After I met Siddharth, I think it was a natural progression. He was the only man I could ever imagine getting married to.”

Their marriage was a low-key affair where there were no Bollywood giants present. Only close friends and family were there. They have always managed to stay away from controversies. On this note, Vidya also shared that, “I am quite cut off from the scrutiny. I don’t read or watch entertainment news. I haven’t developed a thick skin yet and things affect me. The best thing for me is to keep away [from it]. It’s a defense mechanism for me. If I don’t hear or read anything, I won’t react either.”

Actress Vidya Balan, who has wedded producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, told that they try and avoid working together on movies to maintain a healthier marriage. The Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor told that she prefers not to mix their personal and professional lives.

During the promotion of her forthcoming movie TE3N, Balan told that they try their best not to work together as she thinks it's healthier for their marriage. She further added that there is downside in following it as sometimes some good movies slip off, but it's a necessary sacrifice.

Balan will be seen playing a police officer in Ribhu Dasgupta's TE3N, which also stars Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles. The movie, which is a remake of a Korean thriller Montage, is slated to release on June 10.
