Bigg Boss 11 probable list of participants!

TV reality show Bigg Boss 11 has been making headlines for its list of participants. The season is much anticipated and particularly due to the list of participants. Salman Khan will be seen hosting season 11 as well and we wonder which celebs are going to be a part of Bigg Boss 11.

The celebs that have been rumoured to be a part of the season 11:

Nia Sharma:

Nia is presently seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi and is a tremendously famous face on Television world and also has a vast fan base. When we communicated her about the Bigg Boss rumours Nia revealed, "Well, I cannot reveal anything right now but I will make an announcement soon."

Geeta Phogat:

Gold medalist Geeta Phogat was a part of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 8. Geeta Phogat’s  excellent performance was on the show. As per hearsays, Geeta has been approached by the Bigg Boss 11 team.

Niti Taylor:

TV's show Ghulaam’s actress Niti Taylor too has been approached by Bigg Boss 11. She had to say about the same. "Yes, I have been approached for Bigg Boss 11. However, I haven't arrived at any decision as yet."

Nandish Sandhu:

TV star Nandish Sandhu who is also known as Rashmi Desai's ex-husband made news when both Rashmi and Nandish decided to split and clean their dirty linen in public. The actor has been approached for Bigg Boss 11. On being questioned about the same Nandish told, "I haven't confirmed anything as of now. About Bigg Boss 11. I have received a call from them but there is no such thing that I am going inside."

Kunal Verma:

Kunal Verma is all set to marry with Television actress Puja Banerjee and has been preparing for his marriage. He will be seen in a web series soon which will be produced by to be wife Puja. When we communicated him regarding the Bigg Boss 11.  "Is it? I have been hearing it too but I have not received any call from them. If they do, I will definitely give it a thought." 

Varun Sood:

TV reality show Roadies’s star contestant Varun Sood has now been approached for Bigg Boss 11. Actor confirmed the news and told that he has been approached by the Bigg Boss 11 team but nothing is confirmed as of now. 

Gaurav Arora:

TV reality show Spiltsvilla’s participant Gaurav Arora had undergone a gender transformation and is now Gauri Arora. There was a buzz that Gauri will be a part of Bigg Boss 11. She revealed, "Yes I have been approached for the show, but nothing has been finalized."

Devoleena Bhattacharjee:

TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee was approached by the makers of the show as a participant. A source close to the actress revealed, "Yes the show makers have approached the actress but nothing is on papers yet. There a lot of things to be taken into consideration before accepting or rejecting Bigg Boss."

Riya Sen:

Bollywood actress Riya Sen has been a famous actress and lately got wedded with Shivam Tewari. The actress too has been approached for Bigg Boss 11.

Real Wrestler Geeta Phogat refuses to entertain her on-screen father Aamir Khan’s wish!

Superstar Aamir Khan and his Dangal team on Sunday added to the celebrations of Commonwealth Gold Medalist Geeta Phogat by being party to her marriage. Living up to his promise Aamir flew to Balali Village of Chakhri Dadri and blessed the bride and groom.

Aamir who had brought along numerous gifts rued over not being able to present a particular present to Geeta. Aamir wanted to gift her a bridal dress, which was kindly turned down by Geeta. 

Talking on it Aamir told, “I wanted to gift her the joda, but tradition doesn't allow that. Only the bride's mama (maternal uncle) can gift the shaadi ka joda. So I got other gifts for her."

The trailer of Dangal has hit now with bang and Phogat sisters Babita and Geeta are all admirations for the man behind this saga - Aamir Khan and Mahavir Phogat! While the girls are thankful to Aamir for showcasing their journey and struggles on the big screen, Babita & Geeta credit their success to their father, Mahavir. 

“I’m very happy that Aamir Khan and the girls have portrayed our story so well onscreen. It seems like I’m watching myself,” told Geeta, adding that Aamir always made time for the family. “Woh jitney badey star hai, utne hi bade insaan bhi hai. Papa se milne ke liye shootingchhod dete the. (Despite being a star, he’s very humble. He used to stop the shooting to meet our father),” posted Geeta - a wrestler. 

“We’re excited. If people see a film about wrestling, they’ll want to know about the sport,” told Babita, who’s all admiration for Aamir. “He’s so down to earth. We’ve met three-four times since he invited us on his TV show and it’s always wonderful,” she further added. As for their depiction in the movie, the Commonwealth Games gold-medalist told, “When we were narrated the story by (director) Nitesh Tiwari, we loved the fact that there was nothing fake in it. It was all about what really happened in our lives.”

Open up about their father, Mahavir Phogat, Geeta shared how the sisters always wanted to keep long hair, but their father never allowed to do so. "Humne  kabhi masti toh ki nahi. We had short hair and people would get confused if we were a boy or a girl. He used to say, yah toh shauk pura kar lo, yah kushti kar lo. Papa has been very strict with us. He taught us that to achieve something in life you have to compromise on something.”

The inspirational story of Phogat sisters will be essayed on the big screen by actresses Fatima Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra. Dangal will release on December 23, 2016.

Aamir starrer Dangal’s an amazing journey from newspaper article to screen!

It's all the time enthralling story behind Aamir Khan's keenly expected Dangal. Not many know that back in 2012, it was a small article about Mahavir Singh Phogat in a leading newspaper which caught the attention of one of Disney's creative executives Divya Rao, and inspired her to imagine a film about the Phogats. The article was about Mahavir’s pronouncement to train his two daughters in wrestling, a game which is generally perceived as a man’s sport across the country, particularly in a state like Haryana. 

When Divya pitched Dangal’s tale to Siddharth Roy Kapur and other members of the Disney team, they promptly agreed to tell it on the big screen. The next step was to bring someone on board for penning down the story and directing it. It was then that Nitesh Tiwari came on board. Nitesh instantly saw heart and soul in the story and set off for Haryana with Divya to meet Mahavir Singh Phogat and his wrestler-daughters. 

As soon as the Phogats agreed to tell their story to the world and Nitesh had penned a script, Disney approached Aamir Khan to play the character of Mahavir Singh on the big screen. Khan loved Nitesh's narration immediately - and rest, as they say, is history!
