Ranveer Singh is scared from his role in 'Padmavati' due to Heath Ledger!

Earlier reported that Ranveer Singh will be seen in his first ever negative role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati and the actor, who is thrilled about his dark role, is also scared of entering that zone.

Explaining on the same, Ranveer compared his role in Padmavati to that of the Joker (played by Heath Ledger) from The Dark Knight and further added that the role is so dark that if he steps into it, he may have to need some mental therapy once the shoot is over. Ranveer also added that he has decided to a light-hearted movie after Padmavati to keep a balance and for recuperating from his dark role.

Padmavati also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor and the film revolves around Sultan Alauddin Khilji's obsessive desire for Queen Padmavati of Mewar.
