Deepika Padukone's pictures in a de-glam look with much-admired
Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi created a huge stir on the Internet last week.
Rumours have been widespread that Deepika is collaborating with the
Majidi for his next directorial endeavor, who has made classics like Children
of Heaven (1997), The Color of Paradise (1999) and Baran (2001).
Seemingly, Deepika's day long shoot at Dhobi Ghat in Mumbai
was held only for Majidi to gauge if the actress' look suited a prime
character in his movie.
At an event lately, Deepika was asked about her alleged
international project. To this, she answered to a media agency, "You will
know soon."
Presently, Deepika is gearing up for the release of her
maiden Hollywood debut, xXx: Return of Xander Cage. If the
Majidi-Deepika's alliance happens, this won't be the filmmaker's first tryst
with Indian artists. Majid's 2015 film Muhammad: The Messenger of God music
was scored by AR Rahman.
