Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who turned 75 a couple
of days back, intermingled with the media at his residence and also spoke about
how the concept of a birthday cake confuses him.
Speaking to the media, the Amitabh Bachchan told, ''As a
child, I remember cutting a cake and being fed by the elders on my birthday but
I don't do that anymore. Actually, I don't understand this concept of why a
cake is arranged with a burning candle that has to be blown out and then cut
with a knife. Nowadays, there is also this new trend of mashing the cake on the
face of the person, who celebrates his/her birthday and I don't really
understand such concepts.''
