Post the Uri attacks, a lot has been anticipated on the destiny
of the Pakistani artists like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar. Not just
Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, movies like Raees and Dear
Zindagi also came under the radar of being banned. Well, if rumors are to
be believed, the makers of Dear Zindagi have decided not to show Ali
Zafar in the trailer!
A source disclosed a famous daily, "Ali is not part of
the trailer, but chopping off his role completely isn't possible since he is
crucial to the narration. His fate will be decided after the release of
ADHM."
While Ali wasn't accessible to comment on the same, the
source close to the actor told that he was informed about him not being
included in the trailer. "These are unfortunate circumstances. He has no
option but to make peace with it," added the source.
Rumors are widespread that the production house is looking
for a young talent who can compose songs as an alternative to Zafar’s two songs
in the film. Otherwise, director Gauri Shinde chose to be silent on the entire
controversy and told, “Dear Zindagi is on schedule. The film is in
post-production."
