Today is celebration of Karwa Chauth and wives are fasting
for their husbands and there is a festive feeling all around the nation. However,
Twinkle Khanna is no mood of celebrating this occasion and in fact is giving a
reason to all those women above 40 to not keep Karwa Chauth.
She took to Twitter and posted, "These days by 40 u
could be on the way to your 2nd marriage so what's the point of fasting-don't
need the men to last that long anymore." A Twitter user then questioned
her, "@mrsfunnybones @Sahibaliscious what if it works out n he died coz u
didn't fast ....optimism n positive thinking missing."
To which she replied telling, "That is a possibility-so
I checked longevity records-100 countries where men without anyone fasting for
them live longer than Indian men."
