Fashion Icon Sonam Kapoor lately mentioned during an
interview that she and her sister Rhea Kapoor are not receiving the kind of
financing they would have liked to get for their film Veere
Di Wedding. She also stated that this disparity was because they
are women and the society in general is biased towards them.
In another interview with a leading tabloid, Sonam made
another revelation about Veere..being delayed. She told
that this was because they could not get pregnancy insurance for Kareena.
Sonam told, "That was the original plan, but we
couldn’t get insurance for Kareena. India is the only country in the world that
doesn’t insure pregnant women." She further added, "We start taping
in April and the movie follows four girls who are at different stages of their
love lives."
Kareena in the meanwhile is ready to welcome her first child
with husband Saif ali Khan this December.
