Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Bollywood
superstar Amitabh Bachchan on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
"Dear SrBachchan (Amitabh Bachchan), wishing you a very
happy birthday. Your versatility and humility has many admirers. Praying for
your long and healthy life," Modi posted.
Big B was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, the country's
highest civilian honour in 2015, and Knight of the Legion of Honour by France
in 2007 for his exceptional career in the world of cinema.
Amitabh Bachchan has starred in superhit films like
"Deewar", "Zanjeer", "Sholay", "Don",
"Black", "Sarkar", "Agneepath", "Paa"
and "Piku" in his illustrious career.
