Mahesh Bhatt is adapting Srijit Mukherji's Rajkahini in
Hindi, and the remake will also mark the Bengali director's Bollywood debut.
Now I can reveal that Vidya Balan will play the lead in the
movie that’s titled Begum Jaan. Vidya will play the madam of a brothel that
finds itself divided by the newly chalked out line-of-control in the film that
follows the aftereffects of the Partition of Bengal in 1947. The Hindi film
will feature eight key actresses and I’ll be sure to tell you their names when
I find out who they are!
