Abhay's first on-screen co-star will be Natasha, who starred as Britney Spears in 2017's Britney Ever After and as Elvis Presley's first girlfriend in Baz Luhrmann's Elvis (2022), with Austin Butler. She starred in Spy Intervention, The Pale Door, and 12 Mighty Orphans, as well as the Australian comedy-drama miniseries Operation Buffalo, which is her most well-known work.
The film will examine the surprising friendship that develops between two very different individuals with very different outlooks on life and love: Jay (Abhay Deol) and Emily (Natasha Bassett).
