Adah Sharma reveals late actor SSR was not owner of her rented house!

Adah Sharma, star of Kerala Story, recently addressed rumors that she was planning to buy the former residence of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Located in Bandra West, Mumbai, this property is a sea-facing duplex with a 4BHK apartment and a terrace on the sixth story of the Mont Blanc building. On August 12, Adah said that she had rented the apartment instead of buying it during a function where Vikram Bhatt was showing his upcoming movies.

According to a media source, she said, “I took that flat on rent. The Rs. 378 crores earned by The Kerala Story (2023) are not mine!” She further revealed, “Even Sushant used to stay in that house on rent.”

Adah Sharma responded to a journalist's inquiry regarding her ownership of the apartment. She explained that the Rs. 378 crores from the film do not represent her earnings, clearing up any misconception over her earnings from The Kerala Story (2023). Adah added that although her mother does not work, she does assist with rent payments and prepares food for the family. Not so her grandma, who also resides in he apartment.

The actress also revealed that the apartment's owner is Mr. Lalwani, who is presently a resident of South Africa. She added that Sushant Singh Rajput had also rented the property. At this point, Adah made a humorous remark about Vikram Bhatt's empty house, seemingly hinting that she doesn't believe it to be real. Adah laughed and mentioned that she hadn't had any furniture in her last home either. Vikram said, "I don't know what that means," seeming intrigued.

Adah continued by saying that she enjoys an empty room since she loves to dance. She appreciates that the area is open and free of obstacles in her path. She decides against having furniture because she wants to maximize the available space in her gorgeous Mumbai home, where real estate is highly valued.

The Kerala Story actress appears to have rented this specific apartment more for convenience and taste than for artistic effect. The apartment had been unoccupied for three years when she made the decision to move there with her family.

In terms of her profession, Adah Sharma will play the lead in the Vikram Bhatt-directed film Tumko Meri Kasam, which also stars Ishwak Singh, Esha Deol, and Anupam Kher.
