Ishaan is presently promoting his next movie, Shashank
Khaitan’s Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to release on July
20, 2018. Janhvi and Ishaan have been promoting the film by visiting several
cities and interacting with the viewers.
In a one-to-one with a tabloid, Ishaan disclosed how he
landed Dhadak, he revealed, “My audition was my social media account, I think.
Karan’s [Johar] team had seen some of my videos on Instagram—Dubsmashes and
things—and then I had a series of meetings with him.”
Ishaan had disclosed at the trailer launch of the movie that
Shashank Khaitan took him for the screening of Sairat and informed him on the
way that he would like him to star in the remake being directed by him.
Dhadak is the official remake of the Marathi super-hit movie
Sairat.
