TV couple Gurmeet Choudhary & Debina Bonnerjee become proud parents of two girls!

A good news for the fans of Gurmeet Choudhary & Debina Bonerjee. The two who are head over heels in love with each other have finally extended their family and have turned into proud parents of young girls.

As per reports in a daily, the couple will adopt Pooja and Lata, aged six and nine, soon.

Seemingly, the couple met the girls when they were in Jarampur to attend a family wedding in 2014. It is here where Gurmeet’s parents are settled. That’s where Pooja was living with her uncle and first cousin Lata. Lata’s father passed away last year and both the girls had to move in with a distant relative. It was Gurmeet’s mother who realised the children's state and also that probably would have to work as domestic help for survival. 

While speaking to a daily, Gurmeet told, “After hearing about their plight from my mother, I discussed them with my wife. Debina agreed with me that it was time to give the kids a home, a deserving education and my last name. All the paperwork is done. We will be going to Jarampur for the final signatures after Holi. It is a two-day process. Everybody, including my parents, keeps asking me when I’m planning a baby. Well, it’s official now, I’m bringing home two daughters and we couldn’t be more excited.” 

He further told, “After one academic year, they will shift in with us in our Andheri home by 2018. My brother and his family live in Patna and they will be around to see that they are well cared for. Debina and I will travel to Patna three-four times in the year and stay there through their summer vacation too." 

"The general belief is that you only adopt if you can’t have children of your own. That’s not true at all. Both Debina and I love kids and plan to have a couple of our own in the future. And when they come along they will be siblings for Pooja and Lata and all the Choudharys will happily live together under one roof.”

The girls until then have already begun watching Gurmeet and Debina's work to know them better.

Tv star Gurmeet Choudhary to essay Lord Ram once more!

TV hunk Gurmeet Choudhary rose to celebrity with his role as Lord Ram in 2008's hit show Ramayan. The actor became a house name thereafter and also went on to do shows like Geet, Punnar Vivah and many more.

Now, as per a close source, Gurmeet will again be essaying Lord Ram. No, it's not for a show, but he will be a part of a play in London. Chatting about it, a source disclosed, "The producers of the play needed an Indian actor, and they had heard that Gurmeet had played Ram in a TV show that was a huge hit. With his fame in mind, they approached him to act as Ram in their play. Gurmeet loved the concept and will be doing the role."

Gurmeet verified the news and is thrilled to be part of the project as he will not only play Lord Ram, but also a contemporary version of him. He revealed, "Playing Lord Ram is a once in a lifetime opportunity and, thankfully, people were convinced with my interpretation of the divine character all those years ago. The character got me a lot of respect and has also taught me humility. Today, whatever I’ve achieved is because of this character. I believe Ram chose me in 2008 to express himself. Ram is a hero and it was a big challenge for me back then."

Gurmeet will start preparing for the show in London next month. Furthermore, he will be juggling between UK and Mumbai to complete his promises here. Not tensed about it, the actor further added, "An actor's job is to maintain the balance between the projects they decide to take up. Right now, I’m busy with my forthcoming film, and there are several other offers. I prioritise my work and find time for both my work and my family."

Gurmeet Choudhary denies any relationship issues with Debina over intimate scenes with Sana!

TV and Film actor Gurmeet Choudhary is readying for his forthcoming Bollywood film Wajah Tum Ho. His steamy scenes with Sana Khaan are creating buzz and rumour had it that his wife Debina Bonnerjee and him got into a fight over those scenes when on a trip to Sri Lanka.

Well, Gurmeet put all rumors to rest when he spoke to a close source. He told, "First of all, Debina and I were in Sri Lanka for an event and not a vacation. Secondly, we did not fight over my hot scenes in my film. Why would we? She was very much aware of the content. Yes, I told her about my scenes with Sana. Being an actor herself she knows that’s not me making love on camera. She not only gave her consent but also encouraged me to give those smouldering scenes all the spark that I could give."

He further added, "It’s not as if Debina didn’t know I was doing this film. She loved the script of Wajah Tum Ho as much as I did. From the time I read the script about a live murder, I was hooked to it. I didn’t do the film for the steamy scenes. I did it for the opportunity to play a very unique character."

"When I was told about the erotic scenes I gladly agreed. I didn’t even think my wife would object. She is a professional actor.And I’d support her the same way if she had to do sensuous scenes. In fact, I have encouraged and supported her to such scenes in a serial. When she was offered Madhumati she had other options. But I advised her to take up Madhumati even when there were intimate scenes with her co-star.That’s because the script was worth the effort," he further told. 

Gurmeet specified that there is no confusion between the happy couple. "I’ve known and loved Debina from when I was 17. We’ve practically grown up together in the entertainment industry. We know this profession demands us to get intimate with our co-stars. We also know how fragile relationships are in this industry. We are not letting go of our relationship for some flimsy reason."

He further added, “Both Debina and I have known Sana through her association with television. In fact, Debina is closer to Sana than I am. Perhaps if I had to do these intimate scenes with a stranger it may have been awkward.”

I have not crossed all limits of boldness, says Sana Khan on her intimate and bold scenes in 'Wajah Tum Ho'!

Sana Khan, who came to limelight with her stint in Bigg Boss, is now gearing up for the release of her next Wajah Tum Ho and the actress has several intimate scenes with her co-stars Sharman Joshi, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajneesh Duggal in the movie.

When asked if she thinks she has crossed all limits of boldness with her next, she said, ''It's a fantasy that you are living with every film. I think an actress has to look very pretty and desirable and then comes acting, which again is very important depending on what role you are playing.''

''I have not crossed all limits of boldness, abhi kaafi films release hui hain jinme boldness ki sari haddein paar hui hain. On that front I'm still very shy but I think that if I want to be an actress I have to be this open otherwise I should do a religious film," she further added.

  

Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film is slated to release on December 2.

While speaking about Debina's reactions to his oh-so-hot scenes, Gurmeet told, "Mujhe laga tha pitaai hone wali hai meri, maine debina ko trailer dikhaya or unka reaction tha ki 'ye hit hai' - (I had thought that I was going to be bashed by Debina, but when I showed her the trailer, her reaction to it was- 'This one's a sure hit!')."

He further kidded, "Main sabse pehle script debina ko dikhata hu, wo ha bolti hai mai tabhi film ke liye hai kehta hu. (Whenever I am offered a movie, I first show the script to Debina, only after her approval I go ahead with the movie.)"

After becoming husband and wife, we have made sure to not let our primary dream of working and making it big in the industry, take a backseat. In fact, we have always supported each other into fulfilling each other's dreams rather than pulling each other back. My stint on Dr. Madhumati on duty too had a lot of romantic scenes, but Gurmeet took it sportingly and boosted my morale rather than acting as a barrier. I too know that when he has some steamy scenes in movies, I have to act like his friend and support him or else he will feel bad doing it and it won't help him in his career." She further added, "Secondly, I know my position and I am so comfortable there that I do not feel insecure or possessive! Had he been hiding our relationship or avoiding it, I would have felt bad. But I am his wife and the world knows about our relationship. The ones who do not know me, I am just a google touch away. Anybody who searches for Gurmeet will definitely come across a picture of both of us together. Hence, there is no insecurity or possessiveness. That's all his work."
