Bollywood films have shown a lot of strong, masculine roles that we have grown up seeing, such as Kabir Singh in Kabir Singh, Ranvijay Singh in Animal, or Radhe in Tere Naam. Actor Farhan Akhtar recently said that one does not have to walk around banging on a drum to declare oneself the "Bob" while defining what alpha males stand for in his vocabulary.
Farhan Akhtar was asked to explain the idea of alpha males and how he views the
concept in a media interaction. According to what he said, an alpha is someone
who "wants to be at the top of the pyramid."
Every individual, according to Farhan Akhtar, is a "hero of their story". He looks up to the actor-director as his role model, as he makes life decisions based on him. Farhan joked that he has a "great supporting cast" in his life without disclosing the identities.
Giving more details about his perception of alpha guys, the Zindagi Na Milegi
Dobara actor added, "Alpha means the leader of a pack and that to
me is...how macho is that? The minute you are getting into a discussion of 'I
am better than you'...It is not something an alpha male would need to impress
on someone."
He further revealed, "If I have to go around banging a
drum and telling people 'I am the Bob'...Kya Bob hua boss, ki tu ja raha hai
har jagah aur bata raha hai sabko (Why are you declaring it to the world that
you are the Bob)...People should feel it."
The director of Don 3 said in
closing that we had to treat people with respect and give them a sense of
significance in our life.
His most recent appearance was in the 2021 sports drama Toofaan, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Don 3, which co-stars Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in the key roles, is currently being directed by Farhan.
