Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 will not happen on November 15!

The much anticipated sequel to Ajay Devgn's 2018 smash film Raid, titled Raid 2, will now be released early in 2024 rather than on November 15, as was originally said. In a recent interview, director Rajkumar Gupta said that the movie, which is currently in post-production, will take longer to release. Declaring, "The film is set to release early next year, not in November," he revealed the new release date.

The film's director, Rajkumar Gupta, stated in a media chat that Raid 2 will not be released in November as originally scheduled since post-production is still in progress. He said that the release date has been moved up to the beginning of 2019.

A newspaper claimed that Raid 2 has been completed by Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor. On May 10, Devgn's 2018 crime thriller sequel came to an end after a protracted filming period that saw the crew go to Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Ajay and Riteish spent a week in Mumbai during the first part of the filming.

They then shot at places like La Martiniere College and Isabella Thoburn College for a month in Lucknow. After thereafter, the production went to Rajasthan, where sequences were shot in the Mehrangarh Fort, the sand dunes of Khimsar, and other locations in Jodhpur. With the exception of Mumbai, most of the filming was done on location.

Post-production work on the movie is presently in progress, and Devgn is playing senior income tax officer Amay Patnaik once more. The plot is based on a real-life Uttar Pradesh raid case in which a politician-businessman was charged with evading taxes totaling more than Rs 100 crore.

Under the auspices of T-Series and Panorama Studios, Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Krishan Kumar are producing Raid 2.

Raid 2 is not the only brand that Devgn is working on. A few others are Singham Again, De De Pyaar De 2, Son of Sardaar 2, Shaitaan 2, Drishyam 3, Golmaal 5, and Dhamaal 2. For some of these films, the actor has already finished filming, while other projects are still in production. It looks like Devgn has a packed itinerary for the upcoming year.
