As per media reports, now SRK’s son Aryan Khan is taking baby steps towards attaining his dreams in Bollywood. According to our sources, Aryan has been silently working towards developing numerous ideas, which have the potential of being developed into feature movies and web-series.

“Of all the ideas in development, the two in the forefront is a web-series for Amazon Prime and a feature film to be bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The Amazon Prime series is said to be about the life of a die-hard fan with some elements of thrill, however, the details of feature films are not known yet. If everything proceeds at the right pace, there’s a strong possibility of the show being greenlit by the platform this year itself,” disclosed a source close to the development.

The scripts are presently in the development stage and only once they tick mark all the requirements of the streaming platform will they see the light of day. The aforesaid two are not the only ideas that he is working on, as there is sufficient exciting stuff happening in the writers room of Red Chillies with Aryan. The source discloses that Aryan is working on these subjects with Bilal Siddiqi as his co-writer. Fascinatingly, even SRK has been vocal about his love for writing over the years, and it’s his son, who is now planning to get into that space.

Alia Bhatt reveals about her first reaction when SLB narrated Gangubai Kathiawadi!

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt will be seen essaying the titular role in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi and the trailer has indeed left us wanting for more. Fascinatingly, while the team is busy promoting the movie, Alia Bhatt has now disclosed her first reaction when Bhansali had narrated her the script.

During a media chat, the Dear Zindagi actress revealed that she had self-doubt when Gangubai Kathiawadi came her way. Speaking about the first reaction, the actress specified that it was fear and she wasn’t expecting such a film. “I was scared. I was meant to do a love story with sir [Inshallah starring Salman Khan was called off]. Till that point, I hadn’t read the book [Mafia Queens of Mumbai] or known the story of Gangubai. I didn’t expect a film of this nature at all. So, when I heard the narration, I asked sir everything I feared: Do you think I can do this? Don’t you think I am a little young? He said, ‘I will make you do it.’ It was then I told myself that there should be no scope of doubt in my head when a film like this comes my way. I had self-doubt. So, I put in all the extra effort I could. But in this case, doubt was the key to knowledge, which made me explore the extremes of what I can do with this part,” Alia was quoted telling.

Also, the Sadak 2 star called Gangubai Kathiawadi an opportunity of a lifetime. “Ek mauka tha, maine dil khol ke perform kiya. I have lived in Gangu’s world for two years. Even after we were done shooting, I would land up at sir’s office to watch the film’s visuals. I have never been this consumed by a character. SLB is the director I wanted to work with since I was nine,” she further added. Film Gangubai Kathiawadi is scheduled to release on February 25.

Big B to star in R Balki’s Abhishek Bachchan starrer Ghoomer!

As per media updates, Abhishek Bachchan has begun shooting for R Balki’s Ghoomer in Panchgani, and that National Award-winning filmmaker and Founder-Director of Film Heritage Foundation Shivendra Singh Dungarpur has joined the cast of this much anticipated movie. It’s other star cast includes Shabana Azmi, Saiyami Kher and Angad Bedi in key roles.

Now, the filmmaker has also roped in Amitabh Bachchan for the movie. “Just like other Balki films, Mr Bachchan will feature in Ghoomer too. It will be a special appearance, and the duo are looking forward to reuniting again. The part is extremely important to the script but the details of it have been kept under the wraps for now,” reveals a source close to the development. Big B has earlier headlined Balki’s Cheeni Kum, Paa and Shamitabh, and had made cameo appearances in Ki & Ka and Pad Man.

Ghoomer also unites Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan again after numerous years. They have earlier worked together in Paa, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj and Bunty Aur Babli. The Bob Biswas star began shooting for the movie on February 5. “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent, working. घूमर. Now spinning,” Abhishek wrote on Instagram.

 

Ajay Devgn opens up on South doing better than Hindi movies!

After many hit Bollywood movies, Superstar and Filmmaker Ajay Devgn is all set to enter in the digital world via the streaming space. Starring in Rudra, the Disney+ Hotstar series' trailer dropped on Monday. It stars Ajay Devgn, Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra. The psychological drama spans across six episodes and is an adaptation of the British series, Luther, which starred Idris Elba.

During the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn intermingled with the media and fielded a variety of questions. One of them was on Hindi films versus South films. When questioned about the recent phenomenon of South films doing better at the box office than Hindi films. Responding the question, Ajay Devgn answered, "It has just been 5 months since cinema halls have opened. Whenever a good film comes, be it South, Hindi or Hollywood, they will do well. I think, there have not been enough big films from Bollywood. When a good big film releases, it would work. Sooryavanshi has done well."

Nagarjuna and family to attent function of adopting 1000 acres of forest for ANR park!

Recently, the Akkineni family including Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Sushanth, Sumanth, Amala & others assembled together as Nagarjuna adopted 1,000 acres of forest in Chengicherla, in the Medachal district in Telangana. The Akkineni family attended the foundation laying ceremony and also shared photos on social media.

According to reports, the forest area will be converted into an urban forest park in honour of Nagarjuna's dad, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Netizens respected Nagarjuna's gesture. The actor also posted photos of his family posing for photos from their foundation ceremony.

Angad and I don’t fight over babysitting duties, says Neha Dhupia!

Recently, Former Miss India Neha Dhupia received good reviews for her stint in Behzad Khambata directorial A Thursday. She essayed the role of a pregnant cop. For the information, director Behzad Khambata had reworked the script to incorporate her pregnancy angle as she was heavily pregnant while shooting for the movie. As we all know that the Julie actress is married to Angad Bedi and the duo has two kids Mehr and Guriq.

In a latest media chat, the 41-year-old actress talked on how they are managing kids and their work simultaneously.

She revealed, “We do not fight over babysitting duties, because we were never people who were extremely conscious of routine. We do not fight, but we try to work our schedules around and it is very tough to manage when you have two kids and also jobs where you do not have a routine. Of course, we can't move dates for a film but we can ask that we would prefer a Monday shoot instead of Sunday for an ad.”

She further revealed that her kids have taught them how to follow a schedule and respect time like never before and said that from Saturday morning to Sunday evening, they try to stay with their kids.

 

Deepika Padukone’s Hindi Remake “The Intern” will go on floors soon!

After Shakun Batra’s directorial Gehraiyaan, Deepika Padukone has been creating a lot of buzz for her upcoming movies. Amidst her forthcoming projects, the Bollywood adaptation of the Hollywood movie The Intern has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. The movie happens to be co-produced by Deepika and also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.

Now in a media chat with a daily, Deepika disclosed that the third wave of the COVID 19 pandemic delayed their plans to roll The Intern. “The Intern will happen this year, or early 2023. The third wave wasn’t anticipated, so it threw a few things off course,” she added saying that the things are now back on track.

For the information, The Intern will mark Deepika’s third association with Big B after Aarakshan and Piku. Besides The Intern remake, Deepika is also working on Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan which will mark her fourth collaboration with the superstar after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and the 2014 release Happy New Year.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor made buzz when he decided to opt for surrogacy and became a single father to his son Laksshya in 2016. The actor has now documented his story in the book The Bachelor Dad: My Journey to Fatherhood and More. In a latest media chat, Tusshar opened up about his equation with his son and called him a 'happy child'.

Talking to a daily, Tusshar said that his six-year-old is happy in his family setting. “I have always been very honest about the fact that I became a single parent, I brought my son home after I announced it. And I have been honest about it with Laksshya as well. No one has asked any (difficult) question to me or my son. He is a happy child because I have shared with him that there are all types of families today. There is not one kind of family. And he understands that,” he revealed.

Tusshar further added that in the future if Laksshya has any questions regarding the family, he'll always be very open to him. And he is confident that Laksshya will be fine with it as he’s very comfortable with his family setting and knows that he belongs to a family, where there is a dad, a bua, and a grandmother who gives him as much love as any other mother would give him. “He doesn’t have any conflicting thoughts about his truth in his mind at all, which is because I have been very open with him,” he further added.

Gehraiyaan gets 'A' certificate from CBFC without a single cut!

Ahead of the Director Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan's release on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, film has been cleared with an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Turns out, the CBFC cleared the film without a single cut. The film is starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa in the lead role.

However, the Examining Committee did recommend a few modifications after watch Shakun Batra's directorial. The recommendations of the EC were reportedly carried out and the film has now received an 'Adults Only' certificate. Ever since the release of the movie's trailer, Gehraiyaan has made headlines for its intimate and kissing scenes.

Rajkummar Rao’s revelation about his life with Patralekhaa post-wedding!

After dating for 11 long years, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa decided to tie the knot in the presence of nearby friends and family. Both exchanged the wedding vows on November 15 in Chandigarh. However Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have been quite eventful lately, they often take out quality time to spend with each other.  

In a latest media chat with a daily, Rajkummar Rao talked about his life post marriage with Patralekhaa. The actor revealed that he feels complete now. “I think we are getting used to it. We both had been busy after the wedding so didn’t get time to figure out the changes. All I would say is that I feel complete now. Love has always been there and it’s growing every day. I think that’s what matters the most. You can name the relationship anything but without love, nothing works, right?,” told Rajkummar.

Presently, Rao is busy with Badhaai Do promotions. He will soon be seen in the comedy-drama Badhaai Do alongside Bhumi Pednekar.

 

Gangubai Kathiawadi gets UA certificate!

As we all know that Alia Bhatt’s bold avatar in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi is being loved by all and it is somewhat very different from what Alia has ever done on the silver screen. The major issue that all filmmakers face is about the certification and cuts from the CBFC.

As per media updates, even this Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to undergo some minor cuts but has been awarded UA certificate. Gangubai Kathiawadi that is all set to release on February 25, has been awarded a UA certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) but with some minor cuts. Reportedly, after the total changes made in the film, the duration has only been reduced by a minute or two. A scene that features India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, embedding a rose on Gangubai, has been modified. Lately, this Alia Bhatt starrer was also screened at the Berlin Film Festival 2022 and loved by all.

The film is a biographical crime drama based on Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai and will also star Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Jim Sarbh, Varun Kapoor and Indira Tiwari.

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit fans took to social media to share a glimpse with a teaser of Anamika Anand's life. The Beta actress posted a teaser in which we can see Madhuri as Anamika, a renowned name in the glam industry. Earlier, the posters of the series were disclosed and it took fans inside the world of Anamika Anand and her family that included Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul and others.

Sharing the teaser ahead of the trailer, the Hum Aapke Hain Koun actress wrote, "Be it stardom or glamour, everything has a dark side to it. Know more about the flip side of fame in Bollywood star Anamika Anand’s life in the series ‘The Fame Game’. Trailer out tomorrow. #TheFameGame #TheFameGameOnNetflix."

In the shared video, we can see Anamika standing in front of the paps on the red carpet in a gorgeous outfit and smiling away. However, behind the smile, the truth of the fame will be revealed in the series featuring Madhuri in the lead.

Furthermore, the Fame Game traces the life of the star Anamika Anand and the prices she has to pay as a part of the glam world. Directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli. Besides Madhuri, Sanjay and Manav, the series also stars Lakshvir Saran and Muskkaan Jaferi.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s shooting for their untitled love saga?

As per media updates, after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan & Kiara Advani are again reuniting for their untitled love saga. The untitled love saga starring Kartik and Kiara Advani will soon be rolling. A source close to the unit of the movie disclosed that Sajid Nadiadwala is eyeing to take the movie on floors in March. According to the source the movie was originally scheduled to start in December but it could not due to the third wave. Kartik Aaryan is presently wrapping up his pending commitments including brand endorsements and the final touches to Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada. Kiara Advani too has been busy with brand shoots. Too, Kartik and Kiara together will soon begin the promotions of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and will have to juggle the shoot of this movie with the promotions.

Meanwhile, the title of this love story has not yet been decided. Kartik Aaryan will be seen playing the role of Satya and Kiara Advani will be seen playing Katha. In July, the makers dropped the original name after it sparked objections from fringe groups, who claimed it ‘hurts religious sentiments.’ Let us wait and watch to see what is the title going to be now.
