Mardaani was a big hit so it’s plain to see why there’s
already so much anticipation surrounding its sequel.
While the film’s first-time director Gopi Puthran isn’t revealing
much about the plot that he has also penned, I can now confirm that Mardaani 2
will tackle the issue of cybercrime. And this time around Senior Inspector
Shivani Shivaji Roy’s nemesis will be a 21-year-old hacker who knows how to use
your deepest secrets against you. Well, the storyline is certainly a first for
Hindi cinema!
