The deal has been signed – Vidya Balan will play Shakuntala
Devi in Anu Menon’s biopic about the maths genius.
The summer 2020 release will see Vidya playing the
Bangalore-born woman whose was renowned for her incredibly swift calculations.
The actress is maha excited to be stepping into the shoes of the human computer
who grew up in the circus her father worked in before he discovered her special
talent when she was just 5-years-old. I can’t wait to learn more about her life
via the film!
