Soon to be mom Soha Ali Khan lately became the victim of
Internet trolls when the actor posted an image with Kunal Kemmu wherein she was
decked up in a sari. While Soha did not disclose the occasion she was dressed
up for, many guessed that she decked up for her baby shower.
Following this, a few people targeted her for wearing a sari
and alleged her of 'not being Muslim enough' and also for not mentioning EID in
her post.
Coming out in support of Soha, Tiger Shroff who is presently
busy promoting his forthcoming movie Munna Michael, told, "I wasn’t aware
of that. But I think everybody has freedom of speech and the right to do or
don’t do whatever they like. Soha mam is a respected actor in the industry and
a respected citizen. I don’t think she has done anything wrong by wearing that.
I honestly don’t see anything wrong but everybody has their opinions."
During the media communication, Tiger was also questioned
about the Goods and Services Act which has been implemented recently. As per
GST, the theaters with ticket prices below RS 100 will now have to pay 18% tax
while multiplexes whose ticket prices are more than Rs 100 will now have to pay
a whopping 28% tax.
Answering to this, Tiger told, "I guess, in a way
ticket prices will increase, keeping that in mind it will definitely make some
sort of a difference, in the number of people who will go and watch films.
Right now, I think it’s not the best thing for us but it’s okay. If your fan
following is as solid as Salman, Shah Rukh, people will come running to watch
your film anyway."
Munna Michael is scheduled to release on July 21, 2017.
