Film Aashiqui 2 was maybe the
first big success for director Mohit Suri. Ever since the romantic-drama
emerged as a superhit at the box-office, Mohit’s demand has gone on to another
level.
A sequel to Aashiqui 2 has been in the pipeline
for several months now and there were hearsays that Mohit had walked out of
Aashiqui 3 over financial issues. But, now Aashiqui 3 is now predictable
to roll in 2018.
Admirers are enthusiastically awaiting to see Sidharth
Malhotra romance Alia Bhatt once again on the big screen in the romantic saga.
Mohit has now confirmed that Alia will be stepping into a singer's shoes. He
told a famous tabloid, "Since it is part of the Aashiqui franchise, Alia
is playing a singer."
Previously, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur also played
singers in Aashiqui 2. It'll be interesting to see the magic of Aashiqui
3!
