Bollywood super couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are
all set to appear in one of the latter episodes of the upcoming season of Koffee
With Karan.
As per the close source,
“It’s nothing short of a coup for Karan. Despite several offers and requests,
Twinkle has steadfastly stayed away from making any appearance on TV. This will
be the first time the actress-turned-author will make an exception. Karan and
Twinkle are childhood friends and till date remain the same. Fascinatingly,
Akshay who kept refusing to go on Karan’s show finally went last
season and that was only because Twinkle persuaded him. This time, the
filmmaker has managed to convince both to come together on the show.”
When Akshay Kumar appeared on the
show, the actor had told that he would have preferred
his wife Twinkle accompanying him on Karan’s couch. But, she decided
not to appear on the show. While Akshay prefers to be diplomatic — he even told
Karan that he should not get into controversies — Twinkle is known to be blunt
and upfront. She also has a terrific sense of humour.
