Ae Dil Hai Mushkil seems to have had its fair share of
challenges what with the difficulties regarding the Pakistani presence (Fawad
Khan and the two leading ladies' nationality). Lastly here's some good news for
the film's team. The Censor Board has given granted the movie Ae Dil Hai
Mushkil a UA certificate. However at the cost of chopping off at least three
intimate scenes between Ranbir Kapoor & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
News has it that Karan Johar personally attended the censor
viewing of the movie to make sure that key moments were not tampered with. Unfortunately,
while the Censor Board members loved the film's mature theme and high level of
aesthetics, they had objections to certain steamy moments between Ashwarya
& Ranbir in the movie. Though Karan did try his level best to stop these
cuts and debated about their significance to the plot, he was not very
successful and K Jo finally had to bow in. It seems that three intimate scenes
including the one shown in the trailer have been snipped off.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be releasing on October 28 and will
face competition from Ajay Devgn's Shivaay which will also be releasing at the
same time.
