Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin's brief romance took the
entire industry by surprise. Anurag met Kalki on the sets of Dev D in 2008 and
soon the couple began living together and then tied the knot in 2011. Anurag's
15 year-old daughter Aaliya from his wedding with Aarti Bajaj also attended the
wedding along with his industry friends like Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl
and Piyush Mishra.
But, the couple's domestic life wasn't as smooth sailing as predictable.
We hear that while the two loved each other, fights happened frequently and
soon it was evident to them that this wedding could not work. In October 2014,
they filed for divorce. Kalki moved out and has been renting a place in Andheri
independently. The two have always had kind words to say about each other to
the press and still share a warm and cordial relationship.
They lately made their way to the Bandra family court together
to complete the requisite legal formalities. According to sources, they
travelled together and completed their work with minimum controversy. Obviously
both Kalki and Anurag are moving on in life to a better place.
