The "Rowdy Star" is ready for a new hunt. VijayDeverakonda has officially announced his next cinematic venture,
tentatively titled VDxShouryuv, marking a high-octane
collaboration with director Shouryuv, who captured hearts with his debut
film Hi Nanna.
Announced today, April 18, 2026, the project is
already being hailed as one of the most ambitious films in the actor's career.
Taking to Instagram, Vijay shared an intimidating first-look poster that hints
at a massive, gritty action spectacle, accompanied by the rallying cry: "ROAR
my friends. I will give you my all."
A Global Technical Dream Team
What makes VDxShouryuv stand out is the
"firecracker" global team that Shouryuv and production house Vyra
Entertainments have assembled. The film is bringing Hollywood-level
technical expertise to Indian screens:
- VFX
Mastery: Emmy-winning VFX supervisor Eric Durst, known for his
work on blockbusters like Batman Forever and Snowpiercer, is
on board to handle the visual effects.
- Cinematography:
The visuals will be captured by Alejandro Martinez, the acclaimed
cinematographer behind the epic House of the Dragon.
- Music:
Hesham Abdul Wahab, the man behind the soulful tracks of Hi
Nanna and Kushi, reunites with Shouryuv to compose the score.
