Akshay Kumar’s hardcore action-drama with Vashu Bhagnani!

After Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Good Newwz with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, Sooryavanshi with Katrina Kaif, Laxmmi Bomb with Kiara Advani, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey.

As per media reports, Akshay's next will be a hardcore action drama inspired by a real-life incident. Earlier there were stories going around that Akshay had asked a whopping amount of over Rs 100 crore from producer Vashu Bhagnani to star in their project.

According to latest media updates, Akshay, Vashu and Nikkhil Advani of Emmay Entertainment have come together for a project. This untitled movie will be directed by Ranjit Tiwari. Ranjit Tiwari is known for Farhan Akhtar starrer Lucknow Central. This movie will be a hardcore action drama. It is inspired by a real-life incident. The film will be largely shot in London.

Aditya Roy Kapur quits Vashu Bhagnani’s next!

Aditya Roy Kapur has walked out of Vashu Bhagnani’s untitled movie that revolves around three friends whose lives change when they attend a film awards show.


The inside story is that Adi quit the project because he wasn’t getting the fee he wanted, and Vashu has quickly replaced him with Kartik Aryan. The romantic dramedy will also star Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh, and all three actors will have equally important roles in the film. Time will tell if Aditya goes on to regret letting this one go.

Film Sarbjit's official India entry for Oscars?

Omung Kumar's latest release Sarbjit, which was based on the life of Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh, who was sentenced to a Pakistani jail on charges of being an Indian spy, wowed everybody and news has it that the movie will be sent for the Oscars.

The film's producer Vashu Bhagnani intends to send the movie as one of the contenders for India's entry to the Oscars and approving the same, Bhagnani told, ''We will send it as an entry, independently or in the race with other films. We will channelize our energy to make sure Sarbjit is in the race to become India's entry to the Oscar this year.''


Sarbjit was screened at the Cannes Film Festival where the film was highly appreciated and loved by the audiences. Vashu Bhagnani also added ''We will also enroll the film as one of the competitors in the bid for National Awards.''
