Maanayata to share the Sanjay Dutt's training for KGF: Chapter 2!

Recently, the trailer of the highly-awaited Sanjay Dutt starrer film KGF: Chapter 2 was released. The trailer as anticipated was loved by the admirers. In this awaited sequel, besides superstar Yash, Sanjay and Raveena Tandon too will be seen in a key role.

After trailer release, on her Instagram stories, the star wife Maanayata appreciates Sanjay Dutt for his hard work and showed her belief in him. She posted a collage of numerous pics of Sanjay who seemed to be training hard for his role of Adheera in KGF: Chapter 2. From lifting heavy weights to working out in the gym, Maanayata shared a glimpse of it all. Sharing these pics she wrote, ‘And you roar again. I believe in you’.

Film KGF: Chapter 2 will be released nationwide on April 14, 2022, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. KGF: Chapter 2 is written and directed by Prashanth Neel.

Rajkumar Hirani finds his Reel Maanayata!

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani's untitled Sanjay Dutt's biopic has already generated a lot of buzz- thanks to Ranbir Kapoor's drastic physical transformation for the role and his strange resemblance to Dutt. 

Now, as per a report in a famous tabloid, Raju who was continuously in hunt for an actor to play Sanjay's wife Maanayata Dutt has finally found someone. But, she is apparently not an A-lister but an unknown actress who is Maanayata's look alike. 

"She is an unknown actress, but she looks exactly like Maana, so Hirani decided to go ahead with her,” a source was quoted telling. 

Speaking about Ranbir's look for the film, Dutt's spokesperson disclosed to a famous tabloid that Sanjay was taken aback when he saw the pictures that were doing the rounds on the Internet. "The resemblance is uncanny and Sanjay couldn’t stop staring at them,” he told.

Talking to a famous tabloid, a source close to the actor had told, “Sanjay got to know from someone how Ranbir’s look was circulated on various websites and everyone loved it. That’s when the actor learnt about the photos. On seeing them, he was stunned at the similarities that filmmaker Raju Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor had worked upon. He has absolutely loved it."

Whereas Ranbir while talking about his Dutt look had told, "As you can see, I’m in the look of Sanjay Dutt and we have shot for more than half of the film. It feels proud that I’m part of his biopic and I’m very thankful to Vinod Sir (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) and Sanjay (Dutt) sir specially for it."

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie also features Sonam Kapoor , Anushka Sharma , Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Tanna, Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. The movie is expected to release Christmas this year.

Sanjay Dutt sees a pillar of strength in wifey Maanayata!

Last year in February, Sanjay Dutt walked as a free man from Pune’s Yerawada Jail after finishing his prison term following his sentence in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. Post that, Sanjay has been in news for his biopic and presently he is shooting for Bhoomi. Dutt has faced a lot of ups and downs but feels that if Maanyata wasn't there for him all this while, it would have been difficult. 

He told a famous daily, he’s a wife, a friend and a mother, someone who has her head on her shoulders and the right values. After my parents, she’s been my pillar of strength, given me a home and beautiful kids. I’m lucky to be married to her, she is a wonderful wife."

He also talked about his mother Nargis and their bond. Dutt told, "It’s not just about me and her, every son has a special connect with his mother. Today, when I see Maanayata and Shahraan, who is the apple of her eye, I’m reminded of Nargis and Sanjay."

Speaking about the time he spent in jail, he specified, “I missed the film industry during my years in jail. Even when I was out, with the case still on, I wasn’t really free. Freedom is something we often take for granted till we lose it."

He confesses he misses his father a lot too. “Dutt saab was a different man. Maybe when I was my kids’ age, he was with me the way I am with them. I can’t fire them; he was strict but had his own ways of showing his love. I miss him as an anchor and a pillar of strength. I miss that my children have missed out on his love. He would have been so happy spending time with them. Ditto my mother,” he further added. 

Sanjay Dutt also talked when Maanayata is away so he takes care of kids. He told, "As soon as I wake up, I think about what to give them for breakfast and in their tiffin for lunch since their mom is out of town."

Debated Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who has frequently played macho roles in his movies, lately showed his romantic side when he shook a leg with wifey Maanayata in a video that she uploaded on her Instagram page.

In the video, one can see that Maanayata is relatively gung-ho about dancing and though Dutt is obviously feeling embarrassed about his two left feet, he is gamely trying to put aside his discomfort and dance with his wife. Taking to her Instagram page, Maanayata also wrote, ''Trying my luck with his two left feet... 100th post!''

Sanjay, who walked out of prison a few months back, will make his comeback to Bollywood with Badlaa, a movie by Siddharth Anand.
