Dia Mirza to divulge a glimpse of the night shoot of her film 'Dhak Dhak'!

Earlier, Dia Mirza has worked in numerous hit films including Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Sanju, Thappad, and Lage Raho Munna Bhai among others. The former Miss Asia Pacific is making headlines these days for her forthcoming film Dhak Dhak. The film is Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming production and also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead.

Recently, Dia shared a glimpse of the night shift schedule of her shooting of Dhak Dhak. She shared her photo in the stories section of Instagram in which she could be seen visibly sleepy. Previously, the Dhak Dhak team went to Ladakh to shoot the schedule and Dia filled the social media with the beautiful pics of the Valley.

Speaking about the movie Dhak Dhak, it is co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya, and Ayush Maheshwari. The film is co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja and directed by Tarun Dudeja.

Dia Mirza opens up on premarital sex and pregnancy!

Well-known actress Dia Mirza made her debut in 2001 with the movie, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and has been a part of numerous films including Deewaanapan, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Dum, Deewaanapan, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Tumsa Nahin Dekha – A Love Story, Parineeta, and, Thappad, etc.

Recently, during a media chat, the Bobby Jasoos actress opened up- about how she feels about premarital sex and pregnancy. Dia tied the knot with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in February 2021 and pronounced her pregnancy in April. Back then, she was quizzed about the timing of her marriage in relation to her pregnancy, While the actress decided to ignore such questions. now, she revealed about her thoughts and said that premarital sex and pregnancy is a personal choice. She revealed to a tabloid, “I feel when it comes to personal choice and the power of personal choice, it can only be celebrated by those who ensure they make personal choices, not threatened, not afraid of making the choice that you need to as an individual.”

Furthermore, she revealed that while there may be several people with regressive thoughts on things like premarital sex or premarital pregnancy or any others, there are also enough people who know that it is a personal choice and that people have the right to do it if they choose to. "I don’t think we are as progressive as we imagine or as we consider ourselves to be,” Dia told.

In the meantime, on the film front, Dia is presently filming for Taapsee Pannu’s forthcoming production, Dhak Dhak.

Directed by Tarun Dudeja, the adventure film is based on a female road trip and will see Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, and Sanjana Sanghi as protagonists, gearing up for the ride of their lifetime.

Recently, Viacom18 Studios and Taapsee Pannu's Outsiders Films Productions in association with BLM Pictures announced a brand-new movie titled 'Dhak Dhak'. Helmed by Tarun Dudeja, the adventure movie will see Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi gearing up and setting out on the ride of their lifetime.

Viacom18 Studios, who has been behind powerful stories and strong women characters from Kahaani, Queen, Mary Kom to Padmaavat, has now joined hands with Taapsee's Outsiders Films to bring forth a story of four women and their life changing journey to the highest motorable pass in the world.

On the association, COO, Viacom18 Studios told, "Dhak Dhak is a heart-warming story of four women undertaking a trip breaking out of their cocoons & discovering themselves through this journey of introspection and adventure. This was the perfect script and resonates well with the DNA of our storytelling."

Dia Mirza advocates for safe working ecosystem!

Nowadays, the Me Too movement is going rampant in Hindi Film Industry. Women are taking a stand for themselves now and are not backing down from the fear of being shunned away like seen from a few years ago. It was Tanushree Dutta, who began a mini fire which has now become a revolution, as she accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct.

This includes actress and now producer Dia Mirza, who promises to encourage women and have a safe working ecosystem. Dia posted, "Support those that find the courage to express their truth. Dia's statement along with the tweet reads as, "It's important that individuals are finding the courage to speak up. And even more important that the media approach this sensitivity, care and due investigation. Harassment of any kind at a workplace or anywhere else is absolutely unacceptable."

"We all want to live and work within an ecosystem that is safe and fair for all. Hope that the strictest action is taken against anyone found guilty of violating this fundamental right. It's important that cases be registered and due investigation conducted. Media must report facts," Dia further added.

Would like to have children at some point, reveals Dia Mirza!

Bollywood actress Dia Mirza, who wedded producer Sahil Sangha in 2014, tells she would like to extend her family at some point in life.

Questioned if she is planning to expand her family, Dia revealed, "Would I like to have children? Of course at some point in life. It's a very natural source of life".

Dia, who made her acting debut through "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein" featured in movies like "Dum", "Deewanapan", "Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge", "Parineeta", "Dus", "Lage Raho Munnabhai" and "Salam Mumbai".

She will soon be seen in Sanjay Dutt's biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Speaking about her relations with her co-stars in the biopic, she tells, "I had a phenomenal time working with Ranbir. He is one of the most talented actors this country has ever had and I had an amazing time learning from him, watching him work and working with him".

The 35- year actress loves engaging herself into social services. Speaking about what satisfaction she gets out of doing social service, Dia told, "I think being a part of social themes or social impact gives you a deep sense of purpose. It has made my life very meaningful and I can't express the happiness that I get from working with people who are impacting incredibly on the lives of children and the environment which is my biggest source of happiness and inspiration".

Dia Mirza is glad to be a part of Sanjay Dutt's biopic!

Beautiful actress Dia Mirza, who will essay the role of Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata in the actor's biopic, tells it's wonderful to be part of the project.

She is pleased the project is giving her a chance to work with one of her favorite filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, who is directing the movie.

"I am working on Sanjay Dutt's biopic right now, and I am really excited about it. It's wonderful film to be part of, and to be directed by my favourite filmmaker," Dia said on the sidelines of the fourth day of Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) Autumn/ Winter 2017 here.

How easy or difficult is it to represent a real-life character on the big screen?

"I think for an actor, the work is only as difficult as a written material. With the team so sound and with such a wonderful environment out there, you feel nothing but to put your best foot forward," Dia told.

"I would like to believe that whether it is playing a real-life character or fictional character, the idea is to understand what you are doing and the purpose of your presence should matter."

"What you need to do is to take the story forward... That should matter the most," further added the actress, who has worked with Sanjay in movies like "Parineeta" and "Lage Raho Munna Bhai"

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal is essaying the role of Sunil Dutt, while Sanjay's part is being brought alive by Ranbir Kapoor in the biopic.

Dia was part of a special preview hosted by Swedish fashion retail giant H&M along with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) to introduce the new Conscious Exclusive collection of the brand at AIFW.
