Mrunal Thakur has officially signed Gowtham Tinnanuri’s
remake of the sports drama Jersey.
The actress pipped the original Telugu film’s lead Shraddha
Srinath at the post to land the chance to romance Shahid Kapoor in the
cricket-centric film. This will be Mrunal’s third big movie after Super 30 and
Batla House, and she’ll play the breadwinner who supports her husband’s aim to
make it back into top-level cricket. I’m 100% certain that this will be
Mrunal’s third consecutive hit!
