Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh make a fantastic jodi both on
screen and off it.
Which is why I’m very glad to reveal they’ll be playing the
lead pair again 29 years after they headlined 1980’s Dhan Daulat! Ranbir’s
equally famous parents have given the nod to a remake of the Bengali family
drama Bela Seshe, where they’ll play a couple who plan to divorce after almost
five decades of marriage. The original film also featured an ensemble cast of
actors as the couple’s adult kids and their partners, so maybe it’s Ranbir’s
turn to play second fiddle to his parents!
