People have been wondering who’ll play Ayushmann Khurrana’s
love interest in Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan, and I might have the answer for
you.
Divyendu Sharma is in talks to play the object of Ayushmann’s
affections in the movie about a man’s journey to coming out of the closet.
Interestingly, the role was first offered to Rajkummar Rao but he turned it
down, not because he was wary of playing a gay man but because he didn’t think
the role was meaty enough. I’ll let you know if Divyendu signs on!
