Deepika Padukone joined the cast of Kapil Dev’s biopic, ‘83.
Deepika and Ranveer will be seen as husband and wife on screen in Kabir’s movie
which is based on Kapil Dev and the 1983 World Cup. Deepika and Ranveer have
done three movies together in the past which were all helmed by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali.
One more common this in all the three movies was the fact
that one of them died in the end and there was no happy ending. But, lastly in
‘83, Deepika and Ranveer will be getting a happy ending and this is one fact
that is not just making fans happy, but also Ranveer Singh. As Deepika pronounced
her association with Kabir Khan’s ‘83, she shared a photograph with Ranveer on
Instagram.
Deepika captioned the photo as, “& on to the
next...Thank You @kabirkhankk for this incredible honour...! #RomiDev #Day1
@83thefilm @ranveersingh.” Hubby Ranveer could not resist and commented, “ and
this time, we don’t die in the end! Yayy!!”
Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer will be shooting for ‘83 in
England and Scotland. In the movie, Deepika will be seen stepping into the
shoes of Romi Dev, Kapil Dev’s wife.
