Veteran star Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mahaakshay has been
accused of raping and cheating a woman. The woman has accused Mahaakshay and
Mithun’s wife Yogeeta Bali on charges of rape, cheating and causing miscarriage
without consent.
The woman alleged in her complaint that she had been in a
relationship with Mahaakshay since 2015. They got into a physical relationship
after he promised that he will marry her.
Actor Mahaakshay was to tie the knot on Saturday in Ooty. But,
the investigating team arrived and the ceremony was cancelled. The bride’s
family left the place. A Delhi court had ordered the registration of FIR after
the woman had complained saying that prima facie there are sufficient grounds
for an FIR registration.
Following the order, Mahaakshay and Yogeeta Bali had
approached the Bombay High Court seeking pre-arrest bail from arrest till the
time they approached the court in Delhi. But, the court dismissed the pleas and
refused to grant them any interim relief.
