Director Teja has pronounced a biopic based on the life of
the megastar and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, popularly
known as NTR. The movie will highlight the unfamiliar aspects of the actor's
life. The movie is said to be one of the biggest Tollywood projects in recent
times.
Earlier, there were conjectures that Bollywood actress Vidya
Balan has been roped in to play the role of Basavatharakam, wife of NTR. Now, as
per a report in a daily, actress Rakul Preet is all set to step into the shoes
of the iconic actress late Sridevi in the NTR biopic.
But, the talks are still at an early stage and nothing has
been confirmed yet.
Sridevi and NTR were one of the most celebrated pairs on
screen. They have done around 14 movie together. NTR has also worked in
Bollywood in the movie titled Naya Aadmi in the year 1956.
