Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Abbas Zafar were collaborated
in 2017 with Tiger Zinda Hai which broke the shackles of the box office dud,
last year. Now, the trio reunites yet again, thanks to their next titled
Bharat.
While conjectures were widespread about who would replace
the original casting of Priyanka Chopra, Ali verified with a daily that it was
indeed Katrina who will fill the shoes of Chopra's character instead. "I
am extremely excited to work with Katrina and Salman again. We have had
exciting collaborations in the past. Katrina got on board in the Nick of time
for this project," Ali revealed to a daily.
Bharat is inspired by the Korean film, Ode to My Father
(2014) and also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora
Fatehi in pivotal roles.
Bharat is scheduled for an Eid 2019 release.
