Kareena Kapoor Khan's memorable 17-year Bollywood journey
has seen Kareena star in hit movies. While the taboo in the industry is that
the careers of wedded women who are actresses falter after wedding; Kareena
proved all of them wrong and starred in numerous hit movies. She starred in
Udta Punjab and Ki & Ka last year before welcoming baby Taimur Ali Khan in
December 2016.
She was supposed to start shooting for Veere Di Wedding from
October 2016 itself while being pregnant but there were many delays in the
shoot.
For now, Kareena only has Veere Di Wedding in the pipeline
and is yet to sign another movie but that may not happen till the shoot of VDW
ends as the actress has decided to do only one movie a year, according to a
leading tabloid.
Her precedence as of now is Taimur and she wants to focus
completely on him.
Talking of Veere Di Wedding, the movie is finally going
on-floors from September. A source close to the film's unit informed a daily,
"The locations are almost as significant as the characters. Of all the
places he visited, he (Shashanka Ghosh) found Bangkok most appropriate from the
story's point of view. That will be the first overseas schedule. The film is
essentially a road trip, so it will also move to a few other locations in
Thailand followed by Malaysia and four cities in India."
Kareena has been going all out to shed the pregnancy weight
by hitting the gym as well as going for Yoga sessions. VDW is being helmed by
Shashanka Ghosh and starsSonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
