Now Salman and Katrina to star in the third part of the franchise?

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are set to reunite for Tiger Zinda Hai which is a sequel to Ek That Tiger. While ETT was directed by Kabir Khan, TZH is being directed by Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar.

Before Tiger Zinda Hai has even released, there are already talks of a third film in the franchise, as per a famous tabloid.

"Aditya Chopra and Salman have spoken about taking forward the Tiger franchise and end it with a third part. The main team remains the same. As of now, the plan is for Ali Abbas Zafar, who's directing TZH, to helm the third part, too," a source disclosed.

As Tiger Zinda Hai starts exactly where Ek Tha Tiger ended, the third part will begin where Tiger Zinda Hai ends. The source further added, "The ending of TZH is being designed in a way that it leaves room for another, most probably the final sequel. It will be a fresh story with newer characters and a bigger adventure, and will culminate the series."

Salman and Katrina will reprise their roles of Tiger and Zoya for the film and they are presently looking for a great script. There is still time for it to go on floors as Salman does not have dates before 2019.

The team first went to Austria where Salman and Katrina shot a love ballad titled Dil Diyan Gallan as well as few high octane scenes. They then went for a 45-day schedule to Abu Dhabi where they shot for a major chunk of the movie. They will now be heading to Morocco for the next schedule of the movie.

Tiger Zinda Hai is scheduled for a Christmas 2017 release.
