Fingers crossed; pray for me, says Jacqueline Fernandez!

Remo D'Souza is all set to direct Salman Khan in his next which is an emotional dance-based movie about a father and his 13-year-old daughter.

There were rumours that Jacqueline was going to be part of the movie as well. An insider told a leading daily, "Salman and his daughter need to compete for a dance championship. Jackie plays the role of their dance teacher who helps them learn the ropes of different styles of dance forms."

However, Remo was quick to refute the rumours through a simple tweet. His tweet reads, "Wow, I wonder who are these sources from our industry, who know more than the director."

When Jacqueline was asked if she was doing the movie, she told a leading news agency, "Fingers crossed. Pray for me."

Salman and Jacqueline had earlier worked together in Kick and share a cordial camaraderie in real-life.

Remo spoke to a leading daily about casting Salman for the movie and he said, "Salman (Khan) is a good dancer, and has the drive to become better. I could have taken a trained dancer, but this movie required a non-dancer or at least someone who isn't known for his dance skills. Salman is spot on for the part. He is aware that he can't do something simple and get away with it. People feel 'Salman belt hila deta hai and a step is made.' But this will be different."

On the work front, Jacqueline is gearing up for her upcoming movie, A Gentleman.Earlier titled Reload, the movie stars Sidharth Malhotra and is directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru. The movie is slated to release on August 25, 2017.
