ABCD 3 required a non-dancer, tells Remo D'Souza on his next with Salman!

Remo D'Souza is a bonafide choreographer who changed the landscape of dance genre movies in Bollywood when he directed ABCD (2013) which has now become a cult amongst the masses.

"Whenever people talk of the genre, my name will come up first," Remo proclaimed proudly in an interview with a leading tabloid.

His next is a movie based on a father and his 13-year-old daughter and will have the theme of dancing. Salman Khan is onboard the project and the movie will roll out early next year.

Talking about choosing Salman for the movie, Remo said, "Salman (Khan) is a good dancer, and has the drive to become better. I could have taken a trained dancer, but this movie required a non-dancer or at least someone who isn't known for his dance skills. Salman is spot on for the part. He is aware that he can't do something simple and get away with it. People feel 'Salman belt hila deta hai and a step is made.' But this will be different."

"With Salman on board, we can be a bit relieved. He notices and pinpoints the smallest things and tweaks them to better the story. The first time I narrated the script to him, he was overwhelmed. He liked it so much that the story stayed with him. It's a beautiful script and we have worked hard on it," Remo added.

Salman's camaraderie with children was evident on screen when he starred alongside Harshaali Malhotra in Bhajrangi Bhaijaan. So for Remo's next, the 13-year-old girl will be chosen for how well her camaraderie is with Salman.  Remo said, "We know exactly what we are looking for. Our auditions will start in a month. Her camaraderie with Salman, more than dancing skills, will get her the part."
