Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has
been in the news for a while now. Deepika Padukone will essay the role of Rani
Padmini and it's her third association with the director.
During the shoot, Deepika was clad as Rani Padmini. News
suggest that the actor was looking really beautiful on the set. A source disclosed
to a famous daily that Bhansali was content to see Deepika as Padmavati and got
emotional.
After Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki
Raasleela Ram-Leela, Sanjay was very much swayed that Deepika is an appropriate
choice for Padmavati. The spokesperson also added, "Deepika has
started the shoot of the film and is loving every bit of it. This would be her
third film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The duo share an incredible rapport and
she is glad to be shooting for it."
Apart from Deepika, Padmavati also stars Ranveer
Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
