The King Khan was really slapped by a woman while on his
first journey from Delhi to Mumbai in a train before he became a megastar.
While at the trailer launch event of his forthcoming movie
Fan, when a fan asked Shah Rukh Khan if he had taken a train or a flight when
he had come to Mumbai for the first time, Khan told with a laugh, ''I had
actually come by train back then and I want to share this amusing anecdote that
many people don't know about- I had no idea that the moment the train entered
Mumbai, it would become a local train. We didn't have local trains in Delhi so,
I had no idea that an interstate train would become a local one here. As soon
as we entered Mumbai, people started coming in to sit and we scolded them away
saying that this is our berth and we have paid for it. Then a lady came along
with some people and I told the lady that she could sit but not the people with
her. On saying this, she gave me a tight slap and said she will sit and
everyone else will also sit on the berth as it is now a local train.''
